The range of applications for our WERKLICHT products is extremely broad, particularly in automotive construction. Thus the WERKLICHT Pro products are not only pre-series or prototype construction, but also in series production as a digital template in the sampling of components or inline in the assembly or post-processing of car bodies. The WERKLICHT video, in turn, is used to visualize measurement/simulation data on complex surfaces – such as the master block – and makes deviations from the digital planning status visible more quickly and clearly.

Navigation for assembly and painting work

In shipbuilding, but also in steel construction in general, our WERKLICHT products are particularly convincing as digital templates for the shell construction of the ship’s hull as well as for the interior fittings or also for the painting of the outer skin.

In body-in-white construction, the WERKLICHT Pro series is primarily used to precisely position add-on parts.

In the overall painting process, the WERKLICHT Pro series facilitates the painting of the outer skin in particular, as this becomes much more intuitive and easier for the painter. This extreme simplification of the painting process in turn leads to considerable time savings in work preparation.

Spot-on quality

In manufacturing of machinery and plants, too, WERKLICHT products are used in a variety of ways. For example, workers use WERKLICHT Pro as a digital template primarily for positioning and tacking bolts and other attachments.

But WERKLICHT Video is also used very often in mechanical engineering, for example as an assistant to support the assembly of components.

Acceleration on the basis of precision

The range of applications for WERKLICHT products in aircraft construction focuses primarily on their use as digital templates. The WERKLICHT Pro series is used in this industry, among other things, for the assembly of the approx. hand-sized holders and facilitates the work not only of the production employee, but also the production manager and the person responsible for quality assurance. The use of WERKLICHT Pro as a digital template is also an efficient and labor-saving solution for painting or foiling the outer side of the vehicle. In this way, individual designs in particular can be realized with little time expenditure when painting aircraft, but also even paint jobs for batch size 1 aircraft. The representation of contour lines is also playful with WERKLICHT Pro.

Highest flexibility in batch production

Commercial and special vehicle construction covers a very broad spectrum. The production of racing vehicles, emergency vehicles, armored car or even agricultural machinery is only a part of it. The range of applications for our WERKLICHT products is similar to this spectrum, especially in this industry. WERKLICHT Pro products are not only used for assembly, but also as digital templates for component placement, trimming or positioning of add-on parts.

The WERKLICHT video, in turn, is used to visualize a highly complex and almost inexhaustible variety of different equipment options, for example in the interior of special vehicles, and makes them clearly visible. It is also an ideal partner in final assembly or even when it comes to reliably handling placement options in the pre-assembly of assemblies.

More efficient processes

With the WERKLICHT Pro digital template, attachment parts can be effortlessly positioned and welded onto very large and complex components, such as railcars, especially in rail vehicle and also steel construction.

This not only results in more efficient workflows, but also leads to enormous cost savings as the expenses for the production of test templates for all variants to be manufactured as well as the storage and maintenance of these are eliminated.
